BJJ is a grappling-based martial art, utilizing controlling positions, joint locks, and chokes.

BJJ prides itself on being known as “the gentle art”, allowing a smaller, weaker person using leverage and submissions to defend himself against a bigger opponent.
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes in London at our gym are divided according to the traditional BJJ belt ranking system. Students in our BJJ program will learn chokehold and joint lock submissions as well as positional techniques and ground control. The objective of your BJJ training should be to obtain complete mastery of ground control and submissions.
